Jiggy Jayya’s past is riddled with much obscurity. She was born in the Azim Steppes within a Xaela tribe. Ever since her early years, she detested the culture of the Xaela and wanted a more expressive and fulfilling life. During a tribal feud, Jiggy’s family would be murdered by her fellow tribesmen in a violent dispute. She spent years preparing to enact a satisfying and gruesome revenge. In her quest, Jiggy, as only a young adult, traveled throughout Othard to find a practitioner of dark magic. Upon her return, young Jiggy would inflict a deadly illness upon the tribe, and would take advantage of the chaos to maim and slay her parents’ killers.Satisfied with the results, Jiggy went on to explore Othard, but found it to be too rigid and boring. During her travels, she had garnered a reputation for mischief and chaos, and over time, few settlements would still let her in. This prompted her to get in contact with Ul’dahn merchants and bribe her way to a foreign land. Thus she abandoned the homeland of her kin, just like many other Au Ra who desired to forge a new path in Eorzea.The corrupt and chaotic nature of the Sultanate of Ul’dah was irresistible. Jiggy became a plague on both the good and bad citizens of the nation. Using subtlety, charisma, and sheer willpower, Jiggy would enact a spree of unbridled chaos on the citizens of Thanalan. While she enjoyed her antics for quite some time, she would gain a reputation, and had to turn to adventuring to get away from the city. While motivated by a personal desire to do good, the young Au Ra simply saw much of her adventures to further her own plans of power and fortune. She joined the Immortal Flames out of gratitude for getting her out of Othard, but also a desire to use them for her own personal gain. Her importance to the safety of Eorzea forgave her past antics in the eyes of many, but Jiggy still needed to sate her desire for chaos. To do this, she opted to find other adventurers that she could, after gaining their trust, have as her personal playthings.In time, Jiggy Jayya became a member of Sakura Crafting Guild, a free company of crafters and traders. Intertwined with some of its most powerful members through a marriage with the guild’s leader, Momo Lane, Jiggy exerted her influence over the Free Company for her own personal pleasure.However, in time, allegiances and ambitions changed, and Jiggy decided to join a free company formed by her long-time friend and victim Z’fia Sancti. Along with many of Sakura’s former members, they would collectively become a group known as the Soldiers of Fortune. An uncertain but exciting future awaits Jiggy and her friends.
